Allen Zachary joined the firm as an associate in 2014. After graduating cum laude from Tulane University in 2005, he worked in the litigation department of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Subsequently, he attended Brooklyn Law School where he was the recipient of numerous academic scholarships and the Cornelius T. Wickersham, Jr. Prize and the CALI award for his achievements in Constitutional Law. Upon his graduation in 2010, he clerked for the Honorable Paul G. Feinman, first at the New York Supreme Court and then at the Appellate Division, First Department. Subsequently, Mr. Zachary joined the Law Department at the First Department as a Senior Court Attorney, where he spent the next two years drafting confidential reports for the Appellate Justices on a wide range of procedural and substantive issues.
Mr. Zachary is an integral member of the Law Department at Gair, Gair, Conason, Rubinowitz, Bloom, Hershenhorn, Steigman & Mackauf, where he applies his extensive understanding of the law and the intricacies of litigation at both the trial and appellate court levels to assist all of the firm’s attorneys by, among other things, providing analysis of complex legal issues and drafting motion papers and appellate briefs. His impressive ability to expeditiously perform complicated legal research and writing at the highest standards of quality plays a key role in allowing the firm to continue its deep-rooted tradition of providing the best results for its clients. Mr. Zachary works with partner Rich Steigman, who, among his other responsibilities, heads the firm’s Law Department.
